I have a passion for photography. In my case, it's a relationship that has been going on for a long time (see photos)!

I've been involved in photography professionally since 1992. I started out in various fields of commercial photography, including corporate, advertising, and stock photography.

I discovered wedding photography just as the move away from stiff and posed wedding photos to more photojournalistic or documentary wedding photography was beginning. This suited my talents and interests well, as I've always thought that photography's biggest strength was capturing moments as they happen rather than capturing images that were set-up or directed.

Weddings now make up the majority of my professional work, although I still do occasional commercial jobs and personal landcape photography as well.

I live in the San Francisco Bay Area with my wife (Merry), daughter (Jamie), and dog (Koda).
